KRABI

Krabi was the best school trip ever!(despite the HORRIBLE accomadations and annoying shower heads). It was less of a school trip and more of a holiday. This is where we stayed for the first 2 days in Krabi!

here's the beach! We went to SO many beaches i think i'll just put up all the beach pictures in one blog entry.



I loooooved staying at the open air pub. Everything was so laid back cos of the atmosphere and the music. The music and fruit shakes were so good it felt like a party every night.

And here's jose trying to look like a professional kickboxer. haha just kidding jose! I think only nicolette and sandesh actually achieved that. (better watch yourself around them!)









Okay on to the activities! Day 3 in Krabi wasn't as fun because it was mostly travelling and all we did was ride an elephant. Riding an elephant really felt like i was riding on igallop (and no, I dont own an igallop, I tried it out at the gym). Then after that we came to the pub where we were staying and i felt really grumpy for a while cos i really hated our rooms. It was like cement flooring, the mattress was rock hard, the bathroom didnt have a proper door and there was barely enough lighting. haha i sound like juns and jing xi. i should stop now. Anyway thank goodness the guy with the dreadlocks and 6 pack(apparently thats how miss carter referred to him) gave us new rooms in a BUNGALOW. hahaha i nearly died with relief when i saw the bed and the fan and the nice shower.

We did rock climbing/bouldering over the next few days. Here's me rock climbing.



Juns took a video of me rock climbing. Omg so embarrassing. After watching it, my dad somehow managed to guess that the guys were teasing me about jose so i had to explain the situation haha. I can't believe Mr Wong actually asked me "Is there any truth to the rumours?" All the teasing is starting to irritate me. HINT HINT to everyone. I'd upload the video but it doesn't work!

On the last day we did snorkeling. Sarah saw a paddle pop fish! i wish i saw it too.
After that was deep water soloing! i don't think what we did was really deep water soloing. We went up a cliff and then we jumped down. I didnt think i was going to be scared to jump off at first. Before my turn I was thinking "seriously, why is everyone hesitating before they jump in? how scary can it be?" Then when it came to my turn, i looked down at the water below and thought, "omg it looks sooo far down from here...should i jump?". In the end i jumped anyway and it really stung. haha i went in butt first and it was so painful. okay I shall continue tmr!
