i hate the dark.

My foot hurts. Why are SOME of my friends so unsympathetic? They just laughed when i tripped on the stairs in the dark, dark cinema. pfft. haha oh well. i know deep down you all care :P

FINALLY the june holidays are here.

Yesterday after school i went for the ROCK CONCERT. I left half way but i think the grade 11s aka X-cess or XES did the best. They had more stage presence and were fun to watch. hahaha. or maybe i just think so because i know the band members.

Then juns and i left early to go for Little Women. All i can say is that we saw Mr Bennet kiss 2 of the women and jing xi was squirming in his seat. I just realised how some of the confessions of love in Little Women reflect real life situations - like what happens in school. I think all these teenage hormones are annoying. Life would be so much less stressful without them.

Today was our last day of school! After school, sarah, jing xi, sid, eskor, ian, rachel, ernest, chris, zhen, jing qing and i went to see Prince Caspian. It was alot better than i expected. Yes juns, even better than Spiderwick! *Gasp* hahaha :)

We went into the wrong theatre at first (the one i sprained my ankle in). And all of us were so confused cos it felt like we were watching the movie at the half way point. Then we realised the person gave us the 4.30pm ticket instead of the 5.30pm one. But when we went to change cinema, sid and eskor were left behind! i feel so bad. Nobody realised they weren't following!
Then we had dinner at subway and then we arm wrestled. I beat jing xi's right arm!

I'm so annoyed now. I was supposed to meet my mg friends at wisma but my stupid ankle hindered me. Idiotic cinema stairs.

Dining in the dark!

Today was interesting. It involved producing a literally last minute (as in we did it in class on the day of it) presentation for chinese, agreeing to audition for Sound of Music (!!) and eating fish and chips in the dark. Interesting because i've never done any of these things before. ever. I like my life this way - where the most unconventional things could happen.

I'm the sort of person who likes to prepare things beforehand. Especially if its a presentation. But i suppose the stupid chinese text was too tiring for me to bother to understand and my group members were just as lazy as i was to start on it, because we only managed to finish thinking about our chinese presentation DURING the class itself. It wasn't spectacular but it wasn't half bad. I blame all of us really. At least we managed a 5/7 :)

During lunch, Zhen, Carmen and I went to give Jose moral support for his Sound of Music auditions for Captain Von Trapp. I think he did better than Ayush (who auditioned at the same time) but their voices are different.

I cannot believe i agreed to audition for Sound of Music. It's not like me at all. I hope Zhen backs out so then i can too. I told him i'd audition if he did. I'm going to ask Mr V if i can sing in the back choir if there is one.

At 1.40, some of us went to SAVH to Dine in the Dark. We ate in a pitch black room and i had fish and chips with Chris, Charissa, Roth, Yin To and Juns. I just kept poking around my plate aimlessly until i stabbed something. The fish was surprisingly good but i kept losing track of the tartar sauce on my plate. And i was too afraid to pour too much juice into my cup.

Someone threw a fry at me, juns, charissa and roth in the dark. I have a weird feeling it was Charissa but i'll never know now haha!

Well, for my oh-so-boring life, I only saw Mary’s progress today on the road to becoming assertive. I think that she’s done incredibly well. Passed with flying colours, in other words. Hey, don’t look at me like that! Ian’s trained you well. You deserve a biscuit. =) Haha, just kidding Mary. But there has been a lot of change.

Ian didn't train me! I was always capable of being assertive, Jose. I just never bothered enough about the teasing to practice my assertiveness. humph.

Carnival!

Yesterday at 2.30 i went to the carnival at school to help out. haha i feel so bad. Rachel did almost everything for manning the stall. She even did the guys stall when they all left. Anyway, i did a bit, then these guys gave us their left over tickets and i spent $4 getting my nails done by Kathy. Ever nail has a different design on it. haha its so ugly but cute.

Then when i got back from getting my nails done, i designed ernerst's arm. It's so pretty now!

RD is so REDUNDANT. I'm not learning ANYTHING. Sometimes i really miss the O level method of teaching math.

the world is moving slower.

I love fridays! First we went to the com lab for bio, then during chem, sarah and i just talked cos everyone took so long to write out the solutions on the board haha and for english we watched the rest of passage to india! So technically, i didnt learn anything. i love lazy days like this, where i don't have to think so much and stress over the fact that i have to learn some new concept.

After that i had choir (we're singing Lion King and the beatles! :P). Zhen was so happy when he found out we were singing "Let it be" by the beatles that he screamed and sank to his knees. haha that was the happiest i'd ever seen anyone. Zhen is so amusing sometimes.

Then we had free period, where we were supposed to distribute the new issue of SJIeye but somebody said it would disrupt the lessons. haha i didnt really want to distribute them anyway. Then i went to wheelock place with eskor and juns to get some mac game. Then at coffee bean I got a free ice blended vanilla drink along with my chocolate shake cos the guy made vanilla instead of chocolate!) Then we went for rock climbing where i got a nice new pair of rock climbing shoes. After that ian, rachel and i went to holland v for dinner and we talked till like 10pm. haha such a tiring but fun day.

random thoughts
1. My new tennis instructor is waay too condescending. He shouts too much.
2. I think there is ALOT going on in school that very few realize is happening.
3. I'm really really glad i'm doing ib and not a levels. JC looks boring haha.
4. making lists is fun.

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY WEI JIN!

Yesteday was the mass party at the hostel! sarah, jing xi, juns and i came late though. We had to finish our chinese project and SOME PEOPLE didn't feel like going! haha anyway we reached there at around 8, then we went upstairs and played a bit of Sims 2 before truth or dare. So far on eskor's com, there's a ernest and rachel wang, zhen he and jing qing tan and mary and jose hong. hahaha ernest really really looks like ernest on sims. 

After that we played truth or dare. i can't write down exactly what happened though. MUCH too scandalous to be written down. hahhaha. 

YAY today i bought 2 really nice tops from project shop today :) haha i love shopping when my mum's around. Then we ate this really good marshmallow fudge brownie with ice cream at the blood brothers restaurant. It's sooo big, so i shared it with all of my sisters and there was still some left over.
